- Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2019Come for Harley and girl power attitudes. Stay for the incredible art and thoughtful stories. More mature than I expected, considering that it involves Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy proves why she shouldn't be ignored by the comic-book community.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2023If yiu’re into the DC girlies, then go get this. I couldn’t put this book down and decided to re-read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2017I purchased this book for a friend and ended up stealing it for myself. I will admit this is the FIRST graphic novel I have ever read. What an incredible experience. I could not put this book down and finished it within two days. I cannot wait to read volume II. I look forward to reading more form this author. My friend who has been reading graphic novels and comics for years was also in love with this novel. It provides fun and interesting stories of characters we love. Great read for readers new and old to the comic world. Highly recommend!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2015Docked a star because my supposedly "new" package came bent and ruined.
But I also wanted to attest my pure, unadulterated passion for this comic. It is my all time favorite DC comic series. While it primary features Ivy,. Harley, and Catwoman, it features all of the DC ladies to a degree; the more morally ambiguous, the more likely you are to see them here.
This comic does two things really well. It humanizes a lot of characters that we love, but don't always understand. A huge part of this comic is the friendships that these girls cultivate among each other, and how strong their loyalties are. It also gives weight to the female characters of DC, sidelining the fellas in favor of female rivalries and friendships. Characters like Batman and the Joker, who would typically be running the show, are not.
and it's fun. A lot of fun. Sure, there are some intense and emotional arcs that give us insight into the lives of these bad girls, but there are also a ton of stories where they are going on goofy adventures. All of this is packaged quite nicely and naturally
The art is quite consistent and pretty solid, even though it's not the newest comic out there. It's also one of the last depictions of the original Harley Quinn before her looks and personality were altered for new 52.
Do yourself a favor and give this comic a try. You will be happy you did.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2016Essential for any Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and/or Poison Ivy fan. The story isn't life-changing or anything but it's still fun to read because I just love these characters. The art, however, is INCREDIBLE! I love looking at the illustrations. I totally recommend this one.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2014Not that Paul Dini strays from great work often, if ever. Dini still shows that he is the best at writing Harley Quinn (his creation) and shows similar great writing with the other female criminals of Gotham. Each character gets their own stories in between crazy group adventures, I enjoyed the story of the Sirens facing down the Joker's former sidekick most of all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Gorgeous!
Gorgeous! Yes, that's the word that best describes this book. Guillem March is one of my favourite artists, especially when it comes to drawing Catwoman. Paul Dini's writing is stellar as usual but it's the art that takes the cake. The covers are wonderful and the panels are also wonderful. A great book to read, an even better one to see.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving the Sirens.
There's a lot of light fun in this book, but there are also sweet moments, serious moments, and even scary moments. The personality of each Siren adds something special to the group and their interactions with each other are interesting while giving insight to their characters. There's something refreshing and fascinating in seeing Selina doing dishes and indulging Harley's whims; watching Ivy interrogate Zatanna, concerned for Selina's health; and seeing Harley realize the Sirens are more like family to her than her biological family. Little moments abound here and humanize each character effectively. They're not perfect, they're not always united, and they're still working out their relationships with each other. It's realistic, and it's beautiful.
The art is great and the stories are easy enough to follow for someone who's not very familiar with Gotham. Enough is explained and enough is implied for the reader to pick up on.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more Gotham City Sirens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!
I love the story of how they all came together after Harley left the joker. Toddler is a brilliant character and I’d like to see where things go with there being sexual tension between him and catwoman. Plus, she is still in contact with Grayson (the current batman) and I can’t wait to see where that takes her on the next book.
