I got this book for a student who got it tore up on the bus that I work for at the school. I am an assistant principal, and wanted to get the student a new book since it got damaged by another student on the bus, the book came in tact. It was not bit up. It looks great, and the student loved it and enjoyed it.

Great cover art. Not much of an anthology.

There is a bit of misdirection going on. This is really about The Warlock, Gamora has only a very small supporting role. Although there are Marvel tropes that could have lead to a good read- a personal search for meaning, an interesting wisecracking side kick a good looking love interest-it doesn't come up to the greatness that Marvel has sometimes achieved. Good heroic art, but mostly empty violence. Frankly disappointing.

Well, I feel duped. I thought this was new Gamora story given the cover shows her in her Guardians costume, not her old one, but this is just some old Warlock stories resold with Gamora's face on the cover.
