- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2017These are all stories in the arc of the Wonderland Saga that was spun off from Zenescope's Grimm Fairy Tales in 2005. We start with "Alice In Wonderland". Then we move on to "Return to Wonderland", "Beyond Wonderland" and finally, "Escape From Wonderland". The entire saga is terrific, and the individual volumes are substantial. (There are also one-shots, spin-offs and specials that tie in to the saga, but the above three titles are the biggies.)
So, Zenescope has made Kindle freebie teasers available for each of the final three volumes. Some are more tasty than others in terms of content, although any of the three will give you a nice feel for the art style, the writing, the characters, and the general level of madness, (because in keeping with the underlying "Alice" material, pretty much every character is mad, or worse.)
"Return to Wonderland" starts the saga. Alice is back from Wonderland, is a grown woman with a daughter Callie, and is slowly going mad. The teaser shows us Callie as she is slowly set up to be dragged into Wonderland to replace her mother.
"Beyond Wonderland" continues Callie's adventures in and out of Wonderland. It has no exposition and is the least helpful in terms of orienting a new reader to what's going on.
"Escape From Wonderland" is the most helpful teaser. It has a summary of the first two volumes, and it builds up a lot of energy and momentum in just a few pages. It will give you the best sense of the whole saga.
As freebie tasters go these are certainly O.K.. For what it's worth, none of them really exhibit the energy and clever style of the full volumes. If you like the teasers you'll probably really like the complete volumes.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2021Nothing special. Doesn't make want to read the others in the set.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2021As usual, left with wanting more if for no other reason but to see what happens. Kinda overdone kinda blah but oh well, entertaining still.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super assustador
Que ideia genial, gostei muito do conceito da prisão dentro do pesadelo real. Atiçou minha curiosidade. Vale a pena investir na continuação.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but short
What can I say. Art and story is ok but not enough for me to judge. I get a feeling that this is a short introductory comic, in which case it’s fine and I’m happy to read on with hopes #1 is longer.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good artwork
A few glitches in continuity of the form and figure. Special ly on page 4. Alice all of a sudden looks like a kid there.
